Full Colour — Long Hair (Blow Wave Finish)
Even root-to-tip colour for hair sitting above the shoulder blades, with a controlled finish.
Long hair needs enough coverage to stay even from roots to ends, and enough control to stay wearable afterward. CXC custom-mixes the colour so the result can match current natural colour, refine a previous formula, or move into a new direction when needed. The pathway below is calibrated for long hair specifically — the length-driven pricing, sequence, and finish are already set.
What you are getting
Everything below is included in the single booking — no add-ons quoted at the chair, no service-by-service upsell.
all-over colour for long hair
a blow wave finish selected for longer lengths
integrated condition, tone and bond-support controls
a hot-towel sealing step applied across the full length balances porosity from roots to ends and closes the cuticle before the blow wave
consultation-led confirmation before colour starts
How CXC classifies this service
If you are unsure whether this is the right pathway, the checks below are how we classify. This booking suits even coverage across long hair rather than placement lightening. We classify it by coverage, colour history, porosity, grey percentage, and the condition of the ends. If the hair needs foils, blonding, correction, or stronger lightening, we move you to Foil Services, Blonde Refresh, or Regrowth Colour before colour starts — the reclassification happens before colour is mixed, not mid-service.

Book this pathway if the checks below sound like your hair and your goal — this is the pre-booking self-check.
long hair that needs even root-to-tip tone

Booking Rhythm
Most clients maintain their colour on a 6–8 week rhythm, depending on visible regrowth, fade and how the colour holds at home.
That does not necessarily mean repeating full colour at every appointment. Your stylist will confirm whether the next service requires regrowth maintenance or another root-to-end colour reset, based on the condition and colour movement through the mids and ends
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Is this suitable for long hair that needs even coverage?
A. Yes. This page is for long-hair all-over colour when the goal is even root-to-tip tone and a controlled finish. The length-driven pricing, sequence, and processing time are already calibrated for the coverage that long hair needs.
Q. When would you choose a different pathway?
A. If you need foils, blonding, correction work, or a full shape change, this is not the right booking.
Q. What counts as Long Hair?
A. Long Hair means hair sitting above the shoulder blades. If your length sits between categories, your stylist will confirm the correct booking during consultation.
Q. How often should I book this service?
A. This pathway is designed for clients whose existing haircut shape is still working and who do not need their length, layers, weight or movement adjusted. The blow wave finishes and polishes the shape already established by your previous cut. It does not replace a haircut, but it is the correct finish when no new shaping is required. Blow waves can also be booked independently whenever you want a polished salon finish for everyday or occasional wear. The full-colour component is not required every time you book a blow wave. It is used when your overall colour needs to be reset across the roots, mids and ends. This may be at the beginning of a new colour plan, after several regrowth appointments when the lengths also need refreshing, or when moving into a new all-over colour direction. If the shape of your haircut also needs changing, choose the Full Colour with Styled Cut pathway instead.
Q. What if I booked the wrong option?
A. Your stylist will assess your hair in consultation and guide you to the correct pathway if your booking needs adjusting.
