Whether you’re new to Cuts By Carella or returning, these are our Transparent Pricing policies. They reflect how our services are delivered today — informed by tested service runs, real operating costs, and the standards we actively hold on the floor.

How Our Pricing Works

This gives you a clear basis for understanding what shapes the price before you choose.

Pricing at Cuts By Carella is structured around service classification, time responsibility, service capacity, and outcome delivery.

We price services according to what is required to deliver the selected outcome properly.

This protects:

  • hair integrity

  • appointment flow

  • outcome predictability

  • clear pricing before the service proceeds

Service Classification

This helps match your booking to the service structure required for the result you want.

Every service is classified by the technical work, timing, finishing requirements, and salon capacity required to deliver the outcome properly.

Correct classification allows the service to be planned, priced, and delivered with the right structure from the beginning.

If the service is changed before or during the appointment, the updated service and price are confirmed transparently before the changed service proceeds.

Time & Service Reliability

This lets you understand how time supports the result without turning your appointment into a stopwatch.

How Time Is Used

Time is used to classify services accurately, not to meter clients.

Clients are not billed per minute.

Pricing is set per service, based on the time and technical responsibility required to deliver it correctly. Once your service is booked and confirmed:

  • the price is fixed

  • you are not charged for overruns

  • you are not charged less for finishing early

Tested Service Timing

Our service times are not estimates or experiments. They are based on thousands of completed service runs across real salon conditions, hair types, densities, and service pathways.

This supports consistent delivery and allows the result to take priority over speed.

Time-Based Demand Pricing

This makes appointment-window pricing visible before you choose when to book.

Smart Pricing

Time-based pricing may apply uniformly across the salon by day and time.

It is not set per stylist.

Some appointment windows cost more to deliver because they sit inside higher-demand periods. Rather than inflating base prices across all services, Smart Pricing may apply during selected appointment windows.

Smart Pricing is based on the scheduled service start time selected at booking.

If your original booking is moved into a Smart Pricing window for reasons outside your control, your original confirmed service start-time price is protected. You do not pay extra because CXC is running late or because CXC moves your service into a later window.

If you book an appointment shortly before a Smart Pricing window begins, and that service is scheduled to continue into the Smart Pricing period, the full value of that service is priced according to the Smart Pricing window.

Standard List Pricing

Cairns work patterns are seasonal and varied. Some clients need high-demand appointment windows; others have more flexibility.

Standard List Pricing remains available in lower-demand times.

Where Smart Pricing applies, it is:

  • automatic

  • visible during booking

  • based on appointment time only

Same outcome. Same standards. You’re choosing when, not what.

Booking Placement

This keeps responsibility for the result with CXC, instead of asking you to guess who or what structure is required.

Outcome-Led Booking

Your booking is for the selected service outcome with Cuts By Carella.

Team placement and service structure are managed by the salon so the service can be completed properly.

Provider Reallocation

If CXC reallocates your appointment to another service provider, your price is handled according to the provider delivering the service.

If your booking is reallocated to a higher-priced service provider, your confirmed service price is protected.

If your booking is reallocated to a lower-priced service provider, your price is adjusted down to match that provider’s delivery price.

Deposit terms are not impacted by service provider changes.

Deposits & Booking Terms

This explains what your booking secures before you commit.

Deposit Confirmation

All clients are required to pay a 50% deposit to confirm acceptance of the booking terms and reserve their time in the chair at CXC.

The deposit is allocated to your pre-selected appointment time and service schedule.

The deposit is bound by the applicable deposit and cancellation timeframes and secures the salon capacity, team allocation, and preparation required for service delivery.

Client-Led Rescheduling

All deposit-bearing bookings may be rescheduled by the client through Fresha where the Fresha booking system permits the change, subject to Fresha availability and a maximum reschedule period of 6 months from the initial booking date.

48-Hour Calendar Reliance

CXC is entitled to rely on any booking that remains in its calendar inside the 48-hour period before the scheduled appointment time.

Where a booking remains in the CXC calendar inside that 48-hour period, the appointment time, salon capacity, team allocation, and service preparation are treated as reserved for that client.

Transaction Fees

This keeps platform and payment costs visible before you choose how to book.

A one-time 20% New Client Fee may apply where a first appointment is sourced through the Fresha App or Marketplace.

To avoid this fee, call us directly on 0456 954 168 to secure your first booking.

Where applicable, bookings and payments processed through Fresha may also attract a Fresha merchant fee of $0.30 + 1.29%.

Card payments processed through Square attract a 2.2% merchant surcharge.

Cash payments are welcome with no surcharge.

All fees include GST.

Trading Days

This shows how our operating week protects service quality on the days we are open.

Cuts By Carella operates Wednesday to Sunday.

Mondays and Tuesdays are reserved for:

  • advanced education

  • technical calibration

  • systems and quality control

This structure protects consistency on the floor and long-term service quality.

What Never Changes

This confirms the standard remains consistent regardless of timing, pricing window, or team placement.

Regardless of pricing window, appointment time, or team placement:

  • service structure remains outcome-led

  • technical standards remain consistent

  • Signature Basin Service is included where applicable

  • outcome accountability remains the same

You are choosing when your service is delivered — not what you receive.

Why We Don’t Discount Outcomes

This explains how our pricing protects the standard of the result, not just the cost of the appointment.

We do not compete on volume or shortcuts.

We price to protect:

  • hair health in heat, humidity, and UV

  • stylist focus and recovery

  • long-term consistency, not one-off results

  • properly classified service delivery
